Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Osogbo, has announced the commencement of applications for admission into its postgraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The Postgraduate College of the university invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various postgraduate programmes across its colleges, faculties, and specialised institutes.
AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES
Applications are available for the following categories:
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Professional Master's Degrees
- Academic Master's Degrees, including M.Sc., M.A., M.Ed., M.Eng., MPH, MBA, LL.M., among others
- M.Phil./Ph.D.
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
- Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
The university offers over 300 postgraduate programmes and specialisations across areas including Agriculture, Arts, Education, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences, Computing, Law, Management, Natural Sciences, Public Health, Sustainable Development, Business Administration, and Social Sciences.
GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are required to possess the basic university matriculation requirements, including a minimum of five (5) O'Level credit passes, including English Language and other relevant subjects, obtained at not more than two sittings, except where otherwise specified.
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD)
Applicants should possess either:
- A Bachelor's Degree with at least Third Class; or
- A Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit.
MASTER'S DEGREE
Applicants should possess either:
- A Bachelor's Degree with at least Second Class Lower Division; or
- A relevant PGD with acceptable performance, where applicable.
M.PHIL./PH.D.
Candidates with appropriate Master's qualifications meeting the prescribed minimum weighted average/CGPA are eligible.
DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (PH.D.)
Applicants must possess a relevant Master's Degree with the required weighted average/CGPA as approved by the university.
DOCTOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (DBA)
The DBA programme is designed for experienced professionals seeking advanced executive and research-oriented business education. Admission requirements and programme structure are available on the university's website.

Applicants who did not graduate from Osun State University are required to arrange for their official academic transcripts to be forwarded directly to the Secretary, Postgraduate College, Osun State University, or electronically to postgraduatetranscript@uniosun.edu.ng.
