The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new online system allowing 2026 UTME candidates to verify and upload their O’Level results from home without visiting a Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.
The new process allows candidates to verify their results directly with the relevant examination body before the result is uploaded to their JAMB profile. The service currently begins with results issued by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
The initiative is aimed at making O’Level result submission easier, faster and safer while reducing queues, unnecessary visits to CBT centres and errors associated with manual uploads.
HOW TO VERIFY AND UPLOAD YOUR O’LEVEL RESULT FROM HOME
Candidates should follow the steps below:
1. Visit the designated JAMB O’Level result verification platform:
2. Enter your NIN and click on “Verify NIN.”

FOR CANDIDATES WITH TWO O’LEVEL SITTINGS
Candidates with two sittings should follow these additional steps:
1. Log in to your JAMB e-Facility profile.
2. Select “2026 UTME O’Level Upload.”
3. Enter the Verification Code provided to you.

5. Select the required subjects from the displayed results.
6. Candidates must select at least five (5) and not more than nine (9) subjects, with no subject selected more than once.
7. Click on “Apply the O’Level Results.”
8. Wait for the notification confirming that your O’Level results have been successfully submitted.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE
Candidates are advised to ensure that the information supplied during the verification process is accurate and corresponds with their official examination records.
Candidates who have been awaiting their O’Level results should upload them as soon as they become available. JAMB has emphasized that candidates must have their results uploaded to the Board’s portal before they can be considered for admission.
This new system is expected to make the O’Level result upload process more convenient for candidates, especially during periods of heavy traffic at CBT centres.
