The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has commenced the release of its 2026/2027 admission offers through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Candidates who applied to UNICAL for the 2026/2027 academic session can now log in to their JAMB profiles to check whether they have been offered admission.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION
Candidates who receive an admission offer should carefully review the details of the offer and accept it through JAMB CAPS if they wish to proceed with the admission.
After accepting the admission, candidates should print their JAMB Admission Letter and follow UNICAL’s instructions for clearance and registration.
JAMB has stated that admissions offered by institutions must be processed through the Board and reflected on its official admission system.
IF YOU ARE CHECKING WITH A PHONE
Candidates accessing CAPS with a mobile phone may need to switch their browser to Desktop Site to view all the available CAPS options.
On Google Chrome:
1. Open the JAMB website.
2. Tap the three dots at the top-right corner.
3. Select Desktop site.
4. Log in and proceed to check your admission status.
IF NO ADMISSION HAS BEEN OFFERED YET
If your CAPS displays a message such as “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet,” it means that an admission offer has not been reflected on your profile at the time of checking.
Candidates should continue checking their JAMB CAPS regularly, as institutions can process admissions in batches.
