JOINT ADMISSIONS AND MATRICULATION BOARD (JAMB) TO TEMPORARILY SHUT DOWN CAPS FOR SYSTEM UPGRADE

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is set to temporarily suspend access to parts of its admission processing system as the Board carries out an upgrade of the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

The development is expected to affect admission-related activities connected to the JAMB CAPS platform during the upgrade period.

JAMB’s CAPS platform is currently processing admissions for the 2026/2027 academic session, with admission activities continuing across institutions.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CANDIDATES

Candidates are advised not to panic if they experience difficulty accessing JAMB admission-related services during the maintenance period.

Applicants should continue to monitor their JAMB profiles and institutional admission portals once services are restored.

Candidates are also advised to rely on official JAMB announcements and avoid unverified information concerning the admission process.
