The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has extended the deadline for candidates seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session to upload and properly reflect their O'Level results.
The extension gives eligible UTME candidates additional time to ensure that their required O'Level results are uploaded and correctly reflected on the relevant admission platforms.
NEW DEADLINE
The new deadline for the O'Level result upload is:
Monday, 24th August 2026.
Candidates are strongly advised to complete the process before the deadline to avoid being excluded from the admission exercise.
ACCEPTABLE O'LEVEL RESULTS
Candidates can upload any of the following recognized results:
WAEC
NECO
GCE
Cambridge O'Level

Candidates are required to ensure that their O'Level results are properly uploaded through:
JAMB CAPS
UNILAG Admission Portal
After completing the upload, candidates should check their JAMB CAPS to confirm that the result has been successfully reflected.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CANDIDATES
Candidates should not assume that their result has been successfully uploaded simply because they have submitted it on a portal.
After uploading, candidates are advised to:
1. Log in to their JAMB CAPS.
2. Check the O'Level section.
3. Confirm that the correct result and subjects are displayed.
4. Refresh the page if necessary.
5. Ensure that the result is properly reflected before the deadline.
Candidates whose O'Level results are not properly reflected on JAMB CAPS by the stipulated deadline may not be considered for admission.
Candidates are therefore encouraged to complete the process as early as possible and avoid waiting until the final day.
