The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) has extended the deadline for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME admission registration by one week.
The extension provides additional time for eligible candidates who are yet to complete their registration to do so before the new deadline.
NEW REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The new deadline for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME registration is:
Sunday, 16th August, 2026
Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline to avoid missing the opportunity.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The extension is applicable to:
Candidates who are yet to complete their Post-UTME registration.
Candidates who did not initially choose AFIT as their first-choice institution but now wish to apply to the institution.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION FOR CANDIDATES
Candidates who did not initially choose AFIT as their first-choice institution are required to visit a JAMB Office or JAMB-accredited CBT Centre to change their institution and/or course to AFIT before completing their Post-UTME registration.
FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED
Candidates who have successfully completed their registration should:
Log in to the AFIT admission portal.
Select their preferred examination centre.
Available examination centres include:
Lagos
Port Harcourt
Abuja
Print their acknowledgement slip, which contains their examination date and venue.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Candidates are advised to carefully check the information on their acknowledgement slip and make adequate preparations for the screening exercise.
Candidates should also complete all required registration processes before Sunday, 16th August, 2026, as late applications may not be accepted.
