The Nigerian Law School (NLS) has officially commenced admission into its Bar Part II Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Qualified law graduates from accredited Nigerian universities are invited to participate in the admission process, subject to the requirements and guidelines of the Council of Legal Education.

Eligibility for Admission

To be considered for admission into the Bar Part II Programme, applicants must:

- Be graduates of accredited Nigerian universities.
- Have their names forwarded to the Nigerian Law School by their respective universities as qualified graduates.

Admission Process

The Nigerian Law School has clarified that the submission of a graduate's name by a university does not automatically guarantee admission.

Admission will be based on the number of available spaces allocated to each university by the Council of Legal Education.

Before Submitting Your Application

Applicants are advised to carefully verify all information before submitting their application. This includes:

- Ensuring that their full name is correctly written.
- Confirming that their matriculation number is accurate.
- Verifying that every other detail provided matches the records submitted by their university.

Important Notice

Applicants should write their names in full and avoid the use of initials or abbreviated names.

The Nigerian Law School also emphasized that no corrections or changes to names or other personal details will be allowed after the application has been submitted.

Similarly, universities will not be permitted to amend any information after forwarding candidates' details to the Nigerian Law School.

Notice to Universities

Universities are required to submit only the names of qualified graduates and ensure that all names, matriculation numbers, and other relevant information are accurate before forwarding them to the Nigerian Law School.
