The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially activated the UTME to Direct Entry (DE) Conversion Service for the 2026 admission exercise.
This development allows eligible candidates who wish to switch from the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) admission process to Direct Entry (DE) to begin the conversion process.
In addition, Direct Entry candidates can now process a Change of Institution and Change of Course by visiting any accredited JAMB office nationwide.

The following services are now available:
UTME to Direct Entry (DE) Conversion
Change of Institution for Direct Entry candidates
Change of Course for Direct Entry candidates
Candidates who wish to make any of these changes are advised to visit a JAMB office to complete the required procedures.
Important Notice
Although the UTME to Direct Entry Conversion Service has commenced, the Direct Entry portal has not yet been fully activated for all admission processes.
Candidates are therefore advised to stay updated and wait for further announcements from JAMB regarding the full activation of the Direct Entry portal.
