Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) has officially commenced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session
The university invites suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programmes to apply during the stipulated application period.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates applying through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must have obtained a minimum score of 150 to be eligible for admission.
The university has also announced that departmental cut-off marks will be released at a later date. Applicants are advised to monitor official updates for programme-specific admission requirements.
Direct Entry candidates who meet the prescribed qualifications are also eligible to apply.
Application Period
The online application portal will be open from 6th July, 2026 to 29th August, 2026.
Prospective applicants are encouraged to complete their registration well before the closing date to avoid last-minute challenges.
Application Fee
The Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission form is available at a fee of ₦2,500.
Applicants should ensure that payment is made through the approved channels provided by the university.
