Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi has extended the deadline for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME Online Screening Exercise.
The extension is intended to give candidates awaiting the release of their O'Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) sufficient time to upload their results to the JAMB portal and complete the online screening process.
NEW SCREENING DEADLINE
The deadline for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME online screening has been extended to Monday, 31st August, 2026.
WHO THIS AFFECTS
The extension is particularly for candidates who are:
- Awaiting the release of their WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results.
- Yet to upload their O'Level results to the JAMB portal.
- Yet to complete the ATBU online screening exercise.
REASON FOR THE EXTENSION
The university extended the screening deadline to allow candidates enough time to:
- Upload their O'Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) once released.
- Complete the ATBU online screening before the new closing date.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
- Candidates awaiting O'Level results should upload them to the JAMB portal immediately after they are released.
- Applicants must complete the ATBU online screening on or before 31st August, 2026.
- Only candidates who successfully complete the online screening within the stipulated period will be considered for admission.
- The university has indicated that no further extension will be granted after the new deadline.
ADVICE TO APPLICANTS
Candidates are encouraged to complete all admission requirements as early as possible and avoid waiting until the final day to prevent delays or technical issues.
